The Beginner Fours have been very busy planting seeds and watching things grow.They have the most enormous grass seed we've ever seen! Their grass has already needed a haircut! In addtion to all of the plants busily growing at the Growing Table, they are now studying insects as well.

One of the favorite projects this month has been planting Giant grass seed and watching it grow. We measured how long it got with our unifix cubes and drew pictures of it , before it got a "haircut".

We have been watching our forsythia and apple blossoms at the growing table and even got to play with some real pussy willows.

These are some of the pussy willow pictures we made. We learned a poem too!

The Beginner Fours have been painting up a storm and using lots of different media in their art work. These are some of our pictures that we have displayed in our room.

We have learned that insects can help plants grow too. We have lots of tools to help us study insects. We already know a lot about them!
